I love sharing but I really like hearing what you think. If you're grabbing please take the time to say hi and let me know what tracks you dig or what you like about the sonorama. Oh yeah become a follower too knucklehead, so you don't miss anything. Special thanks go to Rogue Evolent and Prof. Grewbeard, I look forward to hearing from you every week.

i hear ya Roy, all the stuff i've posted and(precious)few thanx to show for it. by the way, Thanx! this is the best jazz i've heard in a while! is that last graphic provided so you can summon forth your very own Mephisto?...
ReplyDeletei forgot to ask, do you know the name of the composer?
ReplyDeleteThanks Prof. The composer is Takeo Yamashita. You may recognize his other work on Johnny Sokko (Giant Robo). Best jazz ever!!! GR1 GR1 GIANT ROBO!! Be careful summoning Mephisto, he doesn't like taking orders.
ReplyDeleteJust another great Japanese series I'm going to have to look for now! I have really enjoyed the sonorama's btw. You are proving to be an excellent source of information on Japanese sci-fi and fantasy, and I thank you very much for putting it out on your site.
ReplyDeleteThanks cologeek!!! I just love the whole nostalgia of the sonorama books. I wish they did these of new shows and movies.
ReplyDeleteyes, i can hear the musical connection of Akuma Kun and Giant Robo now, makes sense! an observation: Yamashita really knew how to use the harmonica(of all things)for creepy effect.
ReplyDeletepretty sure the first time i saw anything by shigeru mizuki was on your blog. Also Cyborg 009 rilly struck a chord with me, and Im pretty sure I saw it for the first time here.
ReplyDeleteKeep posting incredible things
Josh
